Edward Rice

Attorney Rice has been licensed to practice law in Massachusetts since 1997. He attended Boston College Law School and the University of Minnesota Law School. After many years working for legal services, Attorney Rice started a private practice focused exclusively on housing law. He has successfully litigated landlord-tenant cases in District Court, Housing Court, Superior Court, Federal District Court and Bankruptcy Court – including both jury and bench trials. Attorney Rice has also successfully represented clients in the Appeals Court.

He has been part of the MCLE landlord/tenant law faculty each year from 2011 through 2020. Attorney Rice is the Supervising Attorney with the Suffolk Law School Accelerator Practice legal clinic, and was a Supervising Attorney for the Boston College Law School Civil Litigation Clinic in 2020.
